Olde Yard
Village is only a 2 minute taxi ride from the Virgin Gorda ferry
dock and from the airport. The ferry dock is referred to as "The
Valley" but also known as Spanish Town or Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor.
Guests have
several options to get here depending on what part of the world they
are traveling from. Major airlines fly into the following airports:
San Juan,
Puerto Rico (SJU) - From San Juan fly directly to Virgin Gorda (VIJ)
with Air Sunshine. Runs several flights daily, small charter plane
and takes about 45 minutes.

Thomas USVI (STT)

Tortola (Beef
Island EIS) - International Airport. Upon arrival get the North
Sound Express ferry directly to The Valley (a 25 minute ride ). Cost
is $19 one way and you pay North Sound Express directly. If
reserved in advance North Sound will have a van waiting at the
airport to take you to the ferry dock which is only 100 yards away.
It can be walked if you do not have luggage. Please ask our
reservationist to reserve you a seat.
Antigua (ANU)
Virgin Atlantic flies direct from London Gatwick to Antigua. From
Antigua you can fly with Caribbean Sun or LIAT to Beef Island
Tortola, once in Tortola follow the directions above. You can also
spoil yourself and charter a flight from Antigua to Virgin Gorda
with Island Birds but higher costs do apply.

Once you have
arrived at Virgin Gorda ferry dock in The Valley:
Taxi- Taxi
fare from dock to Olde Yard Village is approximately $4 per person.
Please ask reservationists to arrange a taxi driver to be waiting
for you. Please be advised that accurate time of arrival is
essential for taxi drivers. They are not employed by Olde Yard
Village therefore if you are late it is difficult to hold that taxi
driver. If the taxi has left then there should be several taxi
drivers in the area. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Car Rental
- renting a car is strongly advised. Virgin Gorda is a small island
but there's much to explore from the North Sound area to The Bath's.
Renting a car guarantees you do not miss out. Jeep rentals start at
$50 per day which includes a 2 door jeep (seats 4), tax and
insurance. There is a $10 fee for a BVI driver license. Please ask
reservationists to reserve a car and have it waiting for you upon
arrival.
